Nicky Stepan is a 2025 graduate of Humber Polytechnic, holding a Bachelor's degree in Film and Media. Nicky was the editor on a student documentary Deeper Than Skin which won an award at the Toronto Youth Shorts. With four years of experience in the commercial industry, Nicky has contributed as a Set Dec and Art Department specialist, working on high-profile projects for brands like Coca-Cola, Lysol, and Pinterest. In addition to commercial work, Nicky has worked at Rix Ray VFX, where they contributed to the creation of models and visual designs for the hit show Mayday seen on National Geographic. With a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for design, Nicky continues to shape the visual language of both commercial and narrative media.

Auctioned Fate (directed by Sannon Mazerk) is about a dystopian world where peoples deaths are pre determined from birth. The story follows Miles with a death category of 11 and coming to terms with his inevitable end.
